Meet Paula

Family, Relationship, Children and Young People’s Counsellor

BACP No. 00811655

My name is Paula Phillips. As a qualified integrative counsellor, I pull on a wide range of talking and creative therapies to help young people/adults cope with many of life’s challenges.

I offer a warm empathetic non-judgmental environment and gain great satisfaction from seeing a client make progress, leading to a happier mindset.

I believe counselling achieves the best results by providing a safe space and time to reflect on identified issues while exploring coping strategies used alongside the individual’s own strengths.

Professional Background

With many years of direct experience working in school environments, I have first-hand knowledge of the challenges facing children and young people at school or at home. This work has involved addressing issues of anxiety, personal identity, self-confidence and self-harm.
