Meet Aaron

Co-Founder

Adult, Children & Young People’s Counsellor

BACP No. 01000726

I was inspired to become a counsellor through my experiences as a foster parent, and as my counselling skills have developed, I have supported a wide range of adults, children and young people from diverse backgrounds in dealing with a variety of issues.

I work with my clients to develop a meaningful, supportive relationship that addresses their particular needs, and firmly believe in empowering people to better understand, explore and express themselves in order to create the opportunity for positive change.

Proffessional Background

Before qualifying as a counsellor, I worked as a therapeutic life story work practitioner. This has given me the opportunity to work with children, carers, and parents experiencing challenging situations, to help them process past traumas and significant events, and consider how these may be affecting their current feelings, relationships and sense of self.

Along with my training and experience as a counsellor, this has helped me develop a range of tools and techniques to find the approach that most benefits my clients. I enjoy spending time with my family and have come to truly appreciate the concept of holistic wellbeing and the importance of finding or rediscovering joy in day to day life.
